Intro to Newspaper/ Front Pages of the World

What is your favorite newspaper front page? why?
Verde independent because the head picture and main headline drew me in and i wanted to see what it was about.
What is your favorite headline from that newspaper? Why are you interested in it?
Motorhome and pickup truck collide head-on. This made me want to read more into it and see what happened in the collision
How many stories are on the front page of your favorite?
3 pages it looks like
What do you notice that all newspaper front pages have in common? Look at design, size of photos, size of story text, etc.
I noticed that in almost every newspaper there was a always a main photo with a big heading next to it giving the readers a summary of the story on that particular page and give them information. It also catches the viewers attention because of the bold letters and there is usually a interesting picture to accompany the text.
What are things that vary (or are different) on the front pages of different newspapers? Look at design, size of photos, size of headlines.
The layout seems to slightly change throughout the cover designs, there are different stories, some of the papers like to use pictures for every headline on the front page. Very few of them put the main headline picture taking up the entire cover like a magazine.

What do you like about our school paper vs the other papers you looked at?
What I liked about our school newspaper compared to others was the layout of how the text or information was laid out. There was not too much information nor were there too little stories.
What stands out to you in this paper?
The headlines stood out to me in our newspaper.
How many stories did you find interesting?
The stories I found interesting to read were the school evaluations and horse back riding stories.
How can this paper be improved?
I don't think theres any need improvement in the newspapers
Does is follow rules and guidelines like the other papers?
Yes, this newspaper follows the rules and guidelines like the other papers.

What else would you like to say about our school paper?
Like I mentioned before, the information was well though out and was well organized.

Website review

I chose Fstoppers which is a website that post information on the latest news of photography and videography. It also gives reviews on new photography gear that releases and contest some gear away so if you’re a new photographer trying to figure out what to get Fstoppers is the way to go.

Latest new stories of photography and videography. They also review photography products and contest on some products as well. They write interesting stories for their viewers to keep them coming back to their website.

If the viewer is really into photographer they will stay informed on the latest news.  The viewer can also determine if they should get a certain product based on the websites review on it. Lastly the viewer can potentially win prizes from the website if they chose.

I wouldn’t bookmark this website personally because I’m not into photography like that but if I was into it I would definitely bookmark it so I keep easy access to it. I would probably go to the website to see what new contest the have in store because I like prizes.

I would recommend this website to photographers that I know and see how they would take the opportunity.

I would give this website a solid 4 because I think its very organized and neat. I also like how they have many stories to choose from for their viewers. The reason I gave off a point because of the ads and their layout could’ve been better in my opinion.
I chose this photo because I liked the idea of it and the layout of it.  I also like how the man on fire I feel like I would do a photo like this because I like fire a lot and he looks so casual but he’s fire as someone takes a picture of him. I decided to post this on my blog because I feel like it relates to me in some ways because it’s crazy and its really cool.  Also none of the other pictures are as cool as this photo or called out to me.
