Website review

I chose Fstoppers which is a website that post information on the latest news of photography and videography. It also gives reviews on new photography gear that releases and contest some gear away so if you’re a new photographer trying to figure out what to get Fstoppers is the way to go.

Latest new stories of photography and videography. They also review photography products and contest on some products as well. They write interesting stories for their viewers to keep them coming back to their website.

If the viewer is really into photographer they will stay informed on the latest news.  The viewer can also determine if they should get a certain product based on the websites review on it. Lastly the viewer can potentially win prizes from the website if they chose.

I wouldn’t bookmark this website personally because I’m not into photography like that but if I was into it I would definitely bookmark it so I keep easy access to it. I would probably go to the website to see what new contest the have in store because I like prizes.

I would recommend this website to photographers that I know and see how they would take the opportunity.

I would give this website a solid 4 because I think its very organized and neat. I also like how they have many stories to choose from for their viewers. The reason I gave off a point because of the ads and their layout could’ve been better in my opinion.
I chose this photo because I liked the idea of it and the layout of it.  I also like how the man on fire I feel like I would do a photo like this because I like fire a lot and he looks so casual but he’s fire as someone takes a picture of him. I decided to post this on my blog because I feel like it relates to me in some ways because it’s crazy and its really cool.  Also none of the other pictures are as cool as this photo or called out to me.

Self Portrait vs. The selfie

  1. What is a selfie?
  2. What is a self portrait?
  3. Is there a difference? If so, what?
  4. What style do you prefer?
  5. Is one more valuable/important than the other? Why?
The selfie is a picture taken by yourself and you are the main focus of the picture unless you have a group along in the picture. A self portrait is a picture of you but taken by someone else. The difference between both of them is who takes the photo. I don't prefer either one it depends on what camera i have, but self portrait looks better because typically for self portraits use a better quality camera. I believe self portrait is the most valuable/important because it looks more professional and can come out better quality.
